Welcome to the labyrinth*
I fondly call my mind
Be careful where you venture
you never know what you'll find

With only one way to enter
and only one way to leave
The things you will encounter
you probably won't believe

From silly little fantasies
sordid perversions too
some about other people
some about *me and you

Layers like an onion*
that seem to never end
sometimes it seems like darkness
is my only loyal friend

Welcome to the labyrinth
I fondly call my mind
Remember when you exit
to me you should be kind

Don't judge me for the thoughts
that you've already seen
remember it's just a fantasy
*no reason to be mean

I once was in a place I loved
but left. Let me tell you why.

Friend, I won't give you any of this ****
about vision quests or fields to plow.

I just ran out of patience and time.
And reasons for staying. Anyhow.

That beautiful ghost of a woman
of mine said I don't love you, BOO.
And I was gone. So long.

My heart froze solid
like the cold ground I sleep on.

moss
sometimes I just wonder
if sunflowers feel sad
if they're hiding thunder
beneath their petals' glad

what if their color lies
and though they're bright and yellow
they prefer cloudy skies
and feel a little mellow

maybe that is why they wilt
because no one ever expects
their lack of joy fills them with guilt
and we ignore the effects
Twenty-six letters in the alphabet
Restrain me in creativity of expression
But I'll use all variations of them
To express every possible emotion
Because I am so free and so big
Made up of small infinities
I want to love with intensity
And hurt just the same
I'll burn every letter on paper
As it burns in my heart
For you all to see that I am the letters
And also everything in between
