The best advice I
could think to give is be good
to yourself today.
Revenge is a scary beast
it invades ones soul
leaving not a moment of peace

Feelings have been insulted
one weighs the ways to retaliate
although knowing it will leave one faulted

Senses feel an injustice was done
all thinking is of the retribution to come
however could this have all begun

Emotions are enflamed
grievances carried are heavy
who could sight the offendeds blame

Sentiments may hold vengeance as vulgur
to get satisfaction from avenging another
wouldn't forgiveness be the better gesture

Revenge holds no borders sacred
it is a scary realm to enter into
to want to hear one plead as they bleed
Is that really what your heart and souls needs
as they soar
They course the winds and roam
They care not for snow nor rain
They make the clouds their home!

Consider the badger in his den
He worries not for gold
He will fight till his last breath
To defend his hole!

Consider the lion and his pride
They suffer want and lack
But they care naught or give a thought
They will be bouncing back!

Consider the fish within his pool
He worries not for drink
He won't beware for lack of air
He's stronger than we think!

Consider the wildflower
The bravely climbing rose
She will, in gloom, put forth her bloom
And cover trees in floes!

Consider the canine!
Consider the mighty horse!
They don't amend the name of friend
they're better ones of course!

Consider kingdoms of the wild
Do you find it odd?
They worry not. Give nothing thought

They just depend on GOD.

There's a poet in our community
who's going through a difficult time.

I wrote this to uplift my poetfriend.

I must go off site for now
I'll be back soon.

bones
I once found the moon in a forest
of fir two hundred foot tall,
it's face being lovingly polished
by fish in a silver pool,

the water was deep like a riddle,
as dark underneath as the pine,
I swam like a thief to the middle
but that slippery silver
                        refused to be mine.
