The trees were stretched tall reaching for a sky that they could never touch .

Footsteps along pathways through deep forests
What lurks within your darkened mind I wonder ?

they are a floating heap

of red roses--whose petals

disappear into their own

impaling *****.

as a cape would.

Friendship is a bond so dear,
