There was time my mind was yours,
But my heart is yours regardless,
The beats defined a music sheet and you played me like a harpist.

The score settled like rose petals in the essence of the tarnished
The stems remained like overtures,
And that's where it all started.

You blossomed in the minus key,
Your golden touch was midas
The treasure crept in semi clefts,
The breath I took was harnessed.

I played the jester to your beat
And bowed to you my highness.

You took my crown and held me down
The curtains closed in darkness.
And yes
Sometimes my sadness slips from underneath my eyelashes and rolls onto the tear stained fabric beneath me
And yes
Sometimes I feel as if the world was ending with each passing second of every living day
And yes
Sometimes the noise inside of my head gets so loud that Ill intoxicate my thoughts just numb them for the time being
Yes life is hard sometimes
But no
I will never give up on fighting for myself
..Her  bravery  was unsurpassed.
She  was  example  to  us  all.

Keith  Wilson.  Windermere.  UK.  2016.
I am a drifter of the heart
finding new towns.
Feeling that this is the place
the one I need.
But always moving on.
it's inevitable
it's written in my poetry
like a sailor's death
is weaved into
his sweater
knitted by his wife.
I know I will leave..
you asked me to
settle with you
raise a family
and build a home.
I love you
I will try
I will try I promise.
but deep in my chest.
my restless heart
refuses to unpack its bags.
A fair price to pay
So much we must weigh
Everyone has their cross to bear
If only there were a scale for despair

I glorify the uncertain
Making myself the aversion
Till I'm blinded to God's sacrifice
There's nothing left to romanticize

"It won't always be this way"
Is the message they send
"I just want one good day"
What they can't comprehend

Cowered small, no reprieve in sight
I wish there was anyone left to fight
Unarmed, all defenses have fled
To the constant unbearable noise in my head
Written on a day when I was more depression than person.
