I am bitter about pens
The smear of a pen
Cannot be compared
To the smear of failure written on my paper

The purity of a blank paper brings distraught
But it craves for purpose to be inscribed all over it
A diamond is respectable
I cannot understand how it can still radiate with beauty though tons of pressure has been applied to it
Because when that happens to me
I become a twisted mess of nothingness that cannot have worth

I never was cold enough to freeze my surroundings

I never was great enough to be seen by the eye of most

Crushed between countless Giants
I am never seen
I'm in a constant haze of reality

I am not what I sea
I am not the sea

I am just that simple iceberg

I have one page to go
I'll wait till it snows

Oh I see
I live near the tropical seas

One page is blank
My arms are weak

My eyes are like lit candles
Burning since last week

They feel soggy
Like a chicken nugget left to stay
Or like my fingers when I swim

Sometimes I'd go deep

like the greed of some politicians and businessmen

or shallow

Like the foolish actions evil people do

But who cares? A fight is a fight !

Because it is a bongga day to day

People are stupid
People are kind
People are annoying
People are lovable
People are evil
People are good
People seek vengeance
People give grace
People want all

People say it's "weak to love,
as if to give mercy was a defective trait,
that compassion and kindness a flaw.

Yet,
anger and hatred are painted on the banners of the strong,
letting our animalistic urges overtake us.
Why is it that the hands of the violent,
are met with hands of high-fives and fist bumps?

All for what, To feel strong?
The symbol of strength has been crammed into the magazine of a gun,
locked and loaded with fear.
Wielded by those who seek control.

Because the only kind of control I see partnered with valor,
is the control of one's self.
To go against the strongest of urges,
is where true strength can be found.

A water jug keeps water like how a jug should
But a water jug does not jog because if it did

Or a family that made politics its business

Now we have roads that crumble
Bridges that can't hold up a people
Houses made of plastic or things unknown
All the public schools filled with the local mayors initials
And streets that you dare walk when you are alone

But a country that's been conquered several times should know
We are free from the Americans hold
The Spanish control
And the Japanese grasps
But why does it act like it is bounded ?

We look down upon ourselves
Serving when we are already free
Copying concepts when we can be making
And with all of this we live with a culture that should be unknown

We are free
We are a people
We are warriors ready to fight
Yet we keep peace when there should be peace

We maybe be looked down upon
But we stand
Changing the world
Hand in hand

So let us brake the chains the holds our freedom
Know what our constitution means
Because we won't be controlled no more

Blessings await this holy nation
As power comes down to lift this creation
Destroying all words of condemnation
Leading the corrupt to accusation
