break me

it saws old rain in my skull
and your thoughts take a tour; wet and heavy
and quietly, the dirt shifts in the metal tracts

you break me every single time
my internal spilling is entangled
hopelessly

my summer-psyche enmeshed in your season
and forever swallows a few more ribs
don't wake the children of the light
for their feathers will burn beneath my nails

a storm hangs patiently on the wall
like a delighted painting made from frantic crystals
and I skitter from your towering moods
yet the moon dances in and out of every calm abyss

the lid is no more vacant than my veins cursed with
your silence
like algae, I slip on

my terror squeaks like a vehicle possessed
cheeks go ashen in my gay smiles
you will blush, in secret at what I will do
to you

sails lift on garlicky air in a port where ships don't wait
and my tongue loosens another melody only doubt hears
I'm completely in your hands
and willing for that crush

my acts for coins fall meaningless in embedded frustration
don't come to the table, then
       keep the shades drawn
only the sense of phantoms
will be hanging in my smoke
intoxicating me to radiance
racing through to the ripples in your day

I'll keep lancing pebbles across the ocean's surface
they will never really reach the riverbed
frosty comes in agonising diamonds
a feast of distress sitting urgently
a shudder flutters through me, imperceptible

reduction of sweetness
a date with the cherubs from a netherworld
my nose feels the snows you carry
and I know you constrict still
my language falters and thinking shatters
and although slumped and vulnerable, it flourishes.

The last drop of poetry i imbibed
was written in light, at your eyes
as my moving lips, avidly partook
the nectar on the petals of your lips

Tell me your name,
what's your story?
Tell me everything
about you.
It's a long road,
so let's just talk
until we get home.*

Listen

Why would someone end their life
what could have gone so wrong?
Where were the ones they needed
that once they leaned upon?
Did you not see the signs
were you busy getting by,
life's challenges of your own
you never heard their cry?
Maybe we need to listen
it only takes one soul,
to hear the cry of the weary
and offer words of hope.
Never dismiss someone's dismay
you could have been God's choice,
to make the difference now
there's power in your voice.
Don't be silenced by fear,
because what you have to say,
might make the difference between life or death for someone you love today.

In the dusty blind mist of the bloodless battleground,
All I could sniff was me and my sweaty stale sweat,
I winked hard in the hope that I will wake up wide this time,
In the Antarctic,
Wrapped in the endless horizons of searing white ice,
Hugging a ******* Rock Crystal that hugged me back,
Wrapped in his smothering arms,
Giving me something more than warmth.
I called that rock, my God.
As it gave me the ******* euphoria of a warmth,
That I was not capable of winking the capture of.
Suddenly a wind blew, a soft breeze.
I slipped down my Rock, my God.
Fell into the icy lifeless ice of the Antarctic ice.
Suddenly, my body stopped and my lungs ****** icy dose of air out of my warm nose.
Almost as sudden and heavy the breeze was,
I pulled my soul out of the stiff static body of mine,
And started climbing the rock, my God.
I climbed and climbed and perched on the head of the rock, my God,
And captured the pale curves of my lifeless body, lying astray,
Just miles away.
With each second the breeze went past, my God reduced his warming embrace a little slight,
I realized I was melting into the rock, my God.
I withered and threw my hands at the clouds,
But all that the clouds willed to part was the icy tears of an early morning sky.
Falling into the ecstasy of the ultimate free fall,
I fell without a thud,
into the rock, my God.
I did not choke, cry or whimper.
For my God was awaiting my soul, with greatest Grandeur,
In the void of the Deep ******* Rock, my God.
I saw a million me, glazing, glaring and galloping away from me.
For the rock I called my God,
had eyes now.
It had searing red blood-shot eyes,
I could sense the waves around me trying to guard me and beckon me to run before I was mutilated by the God.
God, he reached into my toes and bowed into me.
I slipped again, but I never fell again.
And he screamed a chant that drained the remnant li'l life outta me.
And, then I never heard the thud but the cosmos whizzing past me, forever.
And he whispered Luck for my tirade, charade and ultimate abode!
