His smile,
Which used to be sun bright
Turned into a cold stare,
To her fright.

The beautiful days,
Turned dark at once.
The butterflies died,
Her forest grew sad at once.

She couldn’t figure out,
Where it all went wrong.
How did her serene kingdom,
Die due to a sudden storm.

She couldn’t believe,
How easily love turned to hate.
Her charm turned to curse,
At such a fast rate.

Had she been wrong?
Not loyal enough or enough selfless.
Then, how did her beautiful,
Sky turn starless.
My first heartbreak
Shagun Sharma Dec 2018
Let me elope,
Get away from this world.
For me I’m tired,
Of all the people hurled.

The void inside my heart,
Is swallowing me more
By each passing day,
It grows a little more.

My soul has lost its spark,
It’s not sad, it’s just ageing
The exhaustion of loneliness,
Have had me breaking.

I’m just like the autumn leaf
Everything besides me is beautiful,
And yet inside I’m dying…
