I was told to follow My dream.
i did.
My dream was you.

Sadly,
You turned out to be My nightmare.

You sometimes
find it very tiring
to go on
that you tend
to end the
sentence with
punctuations:

!
when you are happy

?
when you seek for answers

...
when everyone left you hanging

and with these
I came to wonder


haven't we forgotten
the essence
of taking a break
in between emotions?

Until I found
comfort in
a semicolon

Like the pristine water
flowing on a river,
you are now a
nameless droplet
fallen onto rocks;

one of so many
someones from
the past.

She preserved all the memories
in every corner of her frozen heart
that when she melts
she cries a river
full of pain
from what she held on
for so long.

I am
just a
little lure
in the universe's
tackle box
If it
chooses
to get me stuck
on some rock
underwater
and leave
me there,
then so
be it
