A Short Sweet Sip

Sitting in a little coffee shop, Watching the leaves through the window turn a sharp red, A bald eagle on a street sign pirched on the tippy top, I giggle, you don't know how elegant you are my friend, Sipping on a chestnut latte I feel the fall, The leaves floating around me soon, Autumn is a time for hot cocoa, marshmallows and all, For a first kiss underneath a harvest moon,
