Sep 2014
Streets named after famous people that you've never even heard of
Strangers at your shoulder,
Their knee touching yours,
And they've either got too much
Or not enough to say.
One hand burrowed deep in my coat's pocket,
The other clenched strictly to my life
Baby tree with dead leaves,
And a ghost's sigh.
I wrote this at a bus stop.
