I still feel your fingers on my veins
I prayed to God (for once) that you'd stay
But you stayed in a way that I can't deny
Burns my core thoroughly every night

I miss how you ****** the oxygen from my lungs
And traveled up and down my frame
With the map of your eyes and explorer of a hand
I forget, sometimes, you're the reason I'm not the same
