"Lovers dismantle us;
     they pull
     the threads
     of our soul,
     taking apart
     our existence
     and exploring
     us whole.

Lovers wreck us;
     they know
     how to assemble
     us once more,
     but walk away
     and leave us
     in pieces
     on the floor.

'Love you'
     they swore."
