The first moment that my eyes caught sight of you
You purred that low panther like purr
My world flipped what I thought was the right way up
Like a whirling dervish, I was just a blur

Then, as fast as you came you zoomed past me
The purr blurred into a parrot like shriek
North through to south are back where they belong
And the water flows again in the creek
A toast to the crazy ones, you are as necessary as bubbles in champagne.
