May 2014
Rain streaks down like tears,
Puddles of longing litter the sidewalk.
The songbirds abandon their posts
And the clouds have turned a hostile color.
Up and down and over again,
This is the path I walk.
Other will walk here,
Their eyes cast down,
Preferring the sight of
Silent stones to seeing others
Just the same as them.

Why do I say this?
I guess I'm just tired
Of being alone in a
Rainy world,
With people too much like me.
