One night during a full moon a young crooner sang a Sinatra tune
He sang it expertly and flawlessly, he got the attention of everyone,
but especially noticed by one handsome old gentleman
The song transported him to another time and in another land
were he took her hand and proposed to the Love of his life
to this very same tune in the Month of June
He recently had been depressed after having lost is wife in the fall,
after tears ran down his face the young Crooner apologized for making
him cry
The Old man said, Thank You for making me cry you reminded me of
the best times in my life with my wife, and that song started it all
The young Crooner felt touched and said, I am glad that I say that tune
The Old man smiled and said I am glad too!
This poem came to me after I listened to some old songs.
Some old singers had incredible voices.
I would like to know your favorite ones
