Brief moments upon which I ponder the future, they all include you
In my fancied heart, I lie with passion in the dark

These moonlight promises remind me,
Somewhere near, somewhere far,
You are under the same light

I'm sending myself down corridors of memory
To hold and love thee
Under a different moon
Not so far after all

These memories daunt me,
Hardening me for the long journey
Back around to thee
I can do this summer, so can you.
