The Loss of an Internet Friend
It didn't matter that you were miles away
I felt you step alongside me
Your advice in my veins, your strength when I slipped.
Now it's just me and the voices.
I walk faster now, sure, but,
I'd rather "have" you beside me.
We don't talk anymore, you don't trust me anymore...and that's okay.
Doesn't mean I don't miss you.
