Love is land for seasick feet
A temple safe from showers of tears
Winds of pain howling loud and strong
Withstanding force from freezing fears

Love is an ear to listen
A hand to help and tightly hold
Through every chaotic catastrophe
No matter how messy or cold

Love is a kind word spoken loud
Unreciprocated genorosity
It is an overindulgent dessert
Inciting insatiable curiosity

Love is a miraculous blessing
A place to hide away from life's storms
A place where even wrong is right
Love is a heaven that takes on endless forms
Love has a different meaning to each individual
