I wear it everyday, so you can’t see the real me
It hides away all my fears, and my biggest insecurity
And “what is that?” you might ask
And I’ll reply with a mask
That my biggest fear doesn’t matter to you
For I am the gum on the bottom of your shoe
That you may not notice until you look
When I have reached the end of my book.
