Beautiful she stands tall
Graceful in the wind her confidence flies
She blooms like a rose in the spring
Her small hips and soft ******* fill out
As she becomes a beautiful young woman
But she is different
No, she is not like Kim Kardashian
No, she is not like Beyonce
Her curves are round like a peach
And soft like the sky
As she looks in the mirror she hears voices
Classmates, strangers, friends
“You're so fat and ugly”
“Who could ever love someone as big as you”
These words are carved into her mind with a knife
And tears bleed out like blood to a bullet wound
The rose she once was is now tainted with thorns
Walls put up by judgment and hate
Confident she was but withered she falls
