You were my high
Hiding behind clouds of smoke
You were my numb
When I didn't give
A ****

You were my gifted
When I had a million
Things to say

You were my tarnished
When brains ends
Worn out too thin

You were the ashes
i drank
When I could not think

You were my loss
My remorse
I laid covered in

A sudden fade
To turn white skies
Grey

A driven desire
To kiss air
And make fire

You were mine
And always will be
