I don't own you
and perhaps I never will
so the red in my veins
when you smile at him
I have no right to feel

Yet I have these words
my heart want to spill out
but it get stuck in between my teeth

Hence, the discreet smile
I suddenly wear when you eyes graces my stare

Today, I finally have a date with my fear
And like a loose thread on my favourite sweater I can't resist pulling -despite knowing it could unravel around me.

And just as I was about to open the secret safe of my heart
The alarm clock
snatched the keys almost instantly!
