I saw the green leaves.
I felt the sun blanket me.
I heard the sound of your voice;
But Summer must always turn to Fall.

I heard the bird sing their songs;
As we talked with enthusiasm in our voices;
Watching the sun wake up to warm the town.
But the sun must always set.

The stars shine bright,
The moon is pure and true,
The night sky is so beautiful;
But the sun must always rise.

Her eyes like a pond in the fall,
Shining bright green with golden flakes of sunlight.
I thought she would be there for me;
But Summer will always turn to Fall.
