Savage storms,
To rock what seemed endless sea,

Our small ship,

And how it fought,
Such vicious sway,

Backwards,
Forwards,

Made senseless of direction,
In swirls of dismay,

Yet through storms we travelled,

Over merciful waves,
Past those chaotic clouds,

Onto brighter days.
