Counting Memories
In the short time,
We spent together living our young lives,
You left me with a thousand years of memories.
Never ending words to write.
We spent a year, every day, waking to our dreams,
Making dreams of love.
Making memories, we'll always have.
Afraid the memories would fade away,
I spend days looking to Heaven,
Talking to you, writing poetry to you.
I have been unable to let you go.
In my old life,
I count the memories,
I count the days until,
I will hold your Soul in my arms,
In Heaven once again.
