Heart in a Tower
You wear your heart on your sleeve
And it's so lovely to look at--
I just couldn't keep my hands behind my back.
My heart is locked up in a tower
And I thought I had the only key--
Are you used to walking through walls?
I chased my heart back down;
It's back in its tower now.
But here I still stand with yours in my hands.
I find I'm afraid to give it back--
Your heart is too fragile for a tower,
And I can't cause the death of such a beautiful thing.
