1) Because I want to fix those who are broken

2) So I can to pay back my debt to society for being a spoiled American girl

3) Because science makes me excited, and that's not easy to do these days

4) So I can be useful if we ever collapse into World War III, so I won't have to fight, could maybe protect my sister better, and yes, I really do think about that

5) Because people are beautiful and worth protecting

6) So that when automation takes over, I'll probably still have a purpose

7) Because death and I moonlight as schoolchildren on a playground, bully and victim, and rather than fearing my tormentor
