Regular evening activities
Knocking on the bathroom floor
Sound echoing amongst the tiles,
Out through the crack in the door

Splayed light, oh how have you been
Familiar flash
Reflection, I count to ten
Conversing like we understand

Still knocking
Bathtub overflows
Water in my ears, filling up my vision
This is what you want, finally
