darling, you're broken
i can see that now
but i don't see you as a problem

i look into your eyes
and i see infinities
i see stories that i'm willing to hear
heartbreak, sorrow, loneliness
i'd listen to all of that

i know that you've been hurt before
but i'll teach you how to feel again
little by little you won't feel numb anymore

yes, i see your cheeks
the evidence of dried up tears
i'd caress them anyway

does it feel lonely in that corner?
i'll join you, trap you in a welcoming embrace

i don't care how broken you are
i've been broken once before
somehow, i believe
