Silence speaks louder than words they say
But what happens when silence turns into repeated disappointment?
Swallowing words that threaten to break free from my lips
Constantly wanting to please everyone
Never quite pleasing the self
But It’s a pattern now
A part of me
All I know
All I’ve ever known
