Life’s A Trip

Fumbling through the darkness,
reaching for a hand to hold,
you find it entwine it,
give a final squeeze then let go…

We,
all,
let,
go.

Rhythmic patterns of colors of feelings,
we’re dizzy no reason spinning and reeling,
back fade to black heart attack of the most harmless kind,
well maybe not harmless but gentle at least and kind,

I’m,

fumbling through the darkness,
reaching for a hand to hold,
I find it entwine it,
give a final squeeze then let go,

the most,
liberal boa constrictor,
not left wing or conservative,
heart beats the soundtrack,
there is no other narrative,
comparative,
to comparatives,
but comparatives are only relative,
when heart beats are the narrative,

dare to give,
dare to get,
live your life,
this is it,

find some time,
get a grip,
finally find your footing,
right before you slip,

trip,
tripping,
falling through the darkness,

fumbling,
reaching,
searching for a hand to hold,

you find it,
entwine it,
give it a final squeeze then just let go…

I just published a new book.
If you could take a moment to check it out,
and even write a review it'd be most appreciated.
All profits go to a charity that prevents ****** assault against children.
So not only are you getting an epic book of poetry,
but you're also supporting a good cause.
Thank you SO much
