Poems
May 2016
Time will tick on.
Time has no beginning,
nor does it have an end.
So why would it be any different
with you as my friend?
Time will still tick on,
even if I die.
But even as I say it,
I know it's a lie.
For me time will stop,
it will no longer continue.
All I need is to wait for god
to want his revenue.
I've been really wanting to use the phrase "even if I die, time will tick on." And I haven't used it in my book yet so I decided to use it in a poem.
