May 2016
Mundane duties,
Breaths of air,
Lungs expanding,
Stomach clenches,
Heart hanging by a string,
Jaws threatening to cave in,
Hands no longer yours,
Eyes eyeing the world,
Legs rested where they fall,
No one to pick them up.
Melt to the ground
Become one with one you held so dearly.
I feel like this poem is not finished... I would greatly appreciate some feedback and constructive criticism.
