Dec 2015
there's no need for mistletoe
since I am here on my own
no tinsel, or lights that glow
spending Christmas all alone

no stockings hang on the wall
besides the ones hung to dry
no turkey left out to thaw
just a heart left out to die

there's no need for a jolly soul
when the cold cuts to the bone
no shiny ribbons or fancy bows
spending Christmas all alone
Not totally true, but I am just not into the festivities, plus this write is more about lost love
Merry Christmas to all...or Happy Holidays....seasons greetings etc.
