Perseverance is not a question
I will until the earth's not mine
Life has passed me
in every direction
That's a fact with which I'm fine
For but a scarce few
Moments did I not cherish
I shall not perish
With remorse in my heart
Love is all I attend to
And hold for those inside
Mistakes are the people
I have made them
Not one is to blame
For my lost time
Forgiveness is the greatest reconciliator
Of peace and appreciation
Hurt can find
Well-traversed paths
Of contemplation
Form sturdy walls
In the halls of my mind
Their endless miles
In constant motion
Growing through them
I have thrived
Though alone in this passage
Beyond kindness
And beneath burden
A good soul still remains
It will continue
As I do
True as always
