My heart's nocturne often overtakes me: slow, soft and brimming with soul
It drives at a pace, that in my mind's eye, is a dizzying dance that I've rehearsed every night since I recognized its stirring

With each beat is every sentiment, every syllable that would seem hollow without the accompanying score

One moment I am as light on my feet as a golden feather floating down from an angel's wing

In my solitude, I am filled with infinity

My being is home to an ecosystem that schools me daily to listen, to feed, to grow into my humanity

Lessons such as these have filtered through the years and minds of many
Not to be wasted on those who deny their own souls existence
