You
The feeling was nice,
he made me feel wanted.
In a harsh world,
I felt coveted.

But the person was wrong,
the feeling so right.
It had to end,
before a new dawn's daylight.

Yet it still hurt to say,
for he was my friend.
Then he used my conscience,
to begin my end.

But you, oh you.
Made it all quite clear.
To stop the game or
suffer being near.

It all went fine,
though I hoped for better.
You, on the other hand,
were my hopeful heart setter.
