How are Superman and Jesus alike
A comparison you’ve never heard before
They have many differences
But similarities… there are so much more

They’re known to be the hero
In the comic books and the Bible
They both fight all traces of evil
And they’re both very reliable

Like Superman, Jesus will save you from pain
But he wasn’t foretold to fly
Even though Jesus doesn’t soar through the skies
He is everywhere – low and high

Superman comes to your rescue
Jesus patiently waits for your call
He is in many places at once
And He would never let you fall

Superman is part of the Justice League
And Jesus is part of the Trinity
Superman is from outer space
But Jesus was born on Earth in divinity

Jesus might not have been the strongest man
But he doesn’t weaken from a green rock
He is all powerful and the Son of the Creator
And He chooses who in Heaven will dock

If we can love a fictional character
Then why not believe and trust our Savior
For if you don’t accept Him in your life
He cannot do you a favor

Superman might be invulnerable
But you won’t live forever
So help Jesus help you
So you may live with Him together
