Hello little youngin
Standing so fair
Such an innocent tongue
With his bright blond hair
So sweet with a happy glare
Yet to climb life's rungs

I wish I could tell you
The hardships that lie ahead
I wish I could show you
What you should do instead
But life shouldn't be guided
by a slightly older you

As I look I wish I could go back,
as I smile with glee at these photographs
I wish I could smack you,
for going down the wrong track
But reminiscing about my own past
I can't help but crack a laugh
