Sewn yourself through
not a part left that hasn't
been touched by you
your embroidery is lovely
it colors my face
it paces my hate
it swallows my fate
not a needle I wouldn't take
by you
I'm an addict, I can see that now
happily inebriated
by your loves cloud
indited it'd be, out loud
but captured close and enshroud
of perfect pink dreams
I'm afraid of crashing, stinging
afraid all they'll be bringing
pain, disconnect, heart wreaking
when they canter away
your pictures return
new, beloved, gay
I am pound again and again
by delicate hands
holding needle and thread
love has been like a quilt
where I am your mural
forever colored
by being your girl
and you're covered
hopefully I'm more
than your in love drunkard

Torin
When people are searching for god
The very often look to the skies
They very seldom look inside their minds
021516

I wear a tattered heart today
But God says,
“There’s no such thing as unanswered prayer.”
I was pushed to my limits
And He added,
“There’s no such things as shattered dreams.”

Despite my broken dreams,
*The Lord steadied my heart.
For all of those who failed, God sees you not as failure. When you're in Christ, failure isn't failure at all; but an opportunity to embrace the grace of God & a point of challenge. You are victorious! All things are possible with God!

To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide, I must decide
To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide today

The truth is I cannot decide
Whether to enter or wait outside
Maybe happiness lies inside
Or perhaps it sits on the other side?

To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide, I must decide
To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide today

Perhaps I should just laugh out loud
At the absurdity of living
Laughter would surely help me escape
My lingering indecision

To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide, I must decide
To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide today

And then I’d choose to stay or go
And the choice will have been made
But I choose to sit and wait some more
My backside resting on the floor

To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide, I must decide
To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide today

I wonder how the days go by
Yet I’m still undecided
One door is open another closed
That’s the way I am, I suppose

To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide, I must decide
To follow my heart or compromise?
I must decide today
