when we fall
we fall hard
tearing down stars
crashing through skies
grinding out craters with our feet
churning  through oceans
smashing mountains
blasting out deserts
running rivers dry
shifting poles
resetting orbits
disintegrating ourselves
with a passion that destroys worlds
and births galaxies from our dust

@journeyofdays
Unique and different
Yet we are all the same
Our Father has us here together
To learn to love one another
Never to blame
Not to label our hardships
Or obsess over woes
To love one another
With the love that His Son
Taught us.
Amazing grace, it does grow.
Blessing to know we are never alone

let's make
     smoking
        cool again

***** cruising
    down the road

two lips
   kissing a cigar

he
comes from
          shady lane

he said

let's make
   smoking
      cool again
tall pines
birch trees
lining the trail

high cliffs
running streams

waterfalls
spilling over rock

smashing into
pools below

ears attuned
to forest creatures

dusk
fast approaching

a full grown doe
meanders

a young buck
follows

I wonder
who it is

that feels
more fear

in that moment
we are one
I want to work my vision
And make a story
A story of the crazy

For the crazy
To pass to the man
Who says he is sane

Trapping those who walk the borderline
With those of a mind to            or
With a mind not to

I commend my soul
To the vastness beyond
I beg of thee, bathe me, cleanse me

Take my talents and possessions
That I leave here on earth

Scatter them share them
To bear witness of fresh new birth

They will bury me
Under a star lit sky
Beside a sinless tree
I was thumbing
through some vinyl
when all of a sudden
I had to go home
to take care of some
serious business
so I grabbed some
Taj Mahal
and hit the road

Later the same day
I put on my costume
of an old blues man
an blew some folks away
then I packed up my gear
and was home by 9:00

What is this line that separates us?

Why this lone tape that cordons our spaces?

Who assigned the thread that parts land and sky; earth and the heavens?

How is it that a boundary could be invisible yet bind so sure?

Which of us was given the right to reinforce... to validate this demarcation?

So what is this line that separates us?

It's reality.
