The sun
is a beautiful
thing from afar,
bringing life and color
to the world and faces
around us.
Almost makes you
forget that it's a screaming
ball of turmoil that would
destroy you in an instant
if you got too close.

Speaking of which
I once knew a couple,
two particularly sunny people,
who found that their
individual lights looked better
together
and though their
relationship
was short,
the fireworks
were fun to watch
before everyone got
burned out.

He just wanted
to fly
so that he could
escape this place
and see everything
from on high.

Last time I saw him
he was clutching
a pair of wings,
one paper mache
the other still bleeding
and I prayed that
he had just found one
and hadn't gone hunting
angels.

I'd write a poem
about you
but I haven't fallen
in love with you
nor do I regret meeting
you.
The gray area in which
you reside is poetry
in and of itself
and I would prefer
to keep it that way,
friend.

My skin the coffin to my decaying insides
The knots in my stomach where anxiety resides
The chewed off fingernails
The bruises on my arm
The wondering who will feed the cats if tomorrow I'm gone
Late night thoughts
I love pencils
Every tiny stroke tells a story
But never shares the glory
We are nothing but pencils
We are the clay, He is the potter
Hope is not in the situations going on around us.
Hope is not on what we can do for ourselves either.
Hope is not something tangible that is of this world.
But Hope is on things that are not yet seen by us.
But Hope is on the Living Savior God Lord Jesus.
On what he is doing for us and at times through us.
Hope is being able to smile even though everything  is..
falling apart all around, even though we are really hurting.
For Hope is something that Christ has put within our hearts.
Beautiful Roses, engulfing the Light of the Hot sun.
Beautiful sparkling water, cool to the feel in the throat.
As it falls down into one's stomach quickly still falling.
Beautiful Savior whom took my place on that Cross.
Whom took my place while the soldiers had abuse him.
Beautiful Savior whom has risen back to Life 3 days later.
Beautiful , Dear Friends here whom I love so much.
Beautiful Souls, each of you have I want to thank you.
For being who you are, very special Human Angels.
I want you whom I have befriended on Facebook.
To know that each of you all are very special to me.
I want you to know that I see each of you as Human Angels too.

I saw him sitting on the floor.
I saw the shame through his pores.
I saw the pain in his bones.

I saw him sitting on the floor.
I asked him if something was wrong?
I think life had muted him,
for he did not speak,
he did not weep,
he did not see,
he bore
his
shame
inside.

I saw him sitting on the floor,
his back was made of stone,
I think he was comatose.
He reeked of weariness and brokenness,
Yet, I don’t think he was done,
There was a bit of flare in him.
I saw the strength there was in him,
I saw the fear shining through his skin,
I saw him trying to get up, but, he sat down once more.

I asked him what was wrong?
if I could help at all?
I think life had muted him,
for he no longer spoke
he no longer cried
he no longer saw
he bore his
shame
inside.

I saw him sitting on the floor.
I hope one day he gets up from the inside out!

I saw him on the floor.
I think I loved him once.

Pax
you don't know how to carry
the burden of being alone
you can try by pretending
to have company.

But in the end of the
day, sleep
is your
best friend.
just a simple shout-out to self
