Answering Atheism ii
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
You blame religion for war,
fights and all evils.
You blame it for acts
criminal, killings brutal.
You talk about morals,
you talk about ethics.
But I've got question for you
, faultfinders, cynics.
Why do charity? To hungry
why you want to give food?
Give scientific reasons for
morality, reasons to do good?
Don't you think humans are
born with sense of right and wrong?
Doesn't it point towards someone
merciful, mighty and strong?

Answering Atheism i
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
You mock and laugh at believers
, men rational and wise.
How foolish is believer's beliefs
you inform and apprise.
Each and every rites and
practices of beleivers you condemn.
Reject divine creation of
heavens n earth, things tween them.
But believe me Atheists also
have beliefs, faith and stance.
Your belief is everything came
into existence just by chance.
Earth started rotating and revolving
with precision on its own.
So that If it deviates a bit no
life will exists not a single one.
By accident were created all
plants and creatures in pairs.
Haply it was decided how they
will produce offsprings n heirs.
Hilarious, laughable are your
beliefs, O wise Non-believer!
Believe me your beliefs can put
to shame beliefs of a believer.

[Quran-17: 42, Quran-21: 22]

On television ancient
mythological serial I saw.
Many powerful Gods
brought a feeling of awe.

Each plotting and planning
against one another.
Intention to become supreme
and dethrone other.

Their fights brought disorder
on earth and heaven.
Anywhere and everywhere
chaos and confusion.

Their ungodly behavior
was maddening, insane.
Couldn't control my wild
heart, oppressed brain.

Closed television to get
rid of their conduct lowly.
Started searching truth
and peace in verses holy.

Spotted few verses which
brought smile and relief.
In verses* I found truth
and it increased my belief.

*Quran-17: 42

Say: If there had been (other) gods with Him, as they say, - behold, they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne!

*Quran-21: 22

If there were, in the heavens and the earth, other gods besides Allah, there would have been confusion in both! but glory to Allah, the Lord of the Throne: (High is He) above what they attribute to Him!

Am I Still Alive?
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
I saw a languid, thirsty flower
with lost smiles was crying.
I sprinkled water mixed with
my smiles to stop it from dying.

I saw a tree loosing its patience
standing there for ages.
I gave all my patience to it
which was borrowed from sages.

I saw breeze standing still, sad
, amidst mirthfulness dearth.
I couldn't see its sorrow,
sadness, handed all my mirth.

I saw a pond motionless,
no ripples, dull, calm and quiet.
I tied my liveliness to a stone
and threw into it to excite.

I saw hopeless sun filled with
despair was setting in west.
I gifted all my hope so that it
rises again with promise and zest.

Smiles, mirth and liveliness
all lost, now I had none.
Patience and hope were also
not with me, all gone.

Am I still alive? , thinking this
I looked deep into the skies.
A grave infront of me gazed at
my body with greedy eyes.

All Praise Is Due To Allah
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
Praise came from left and
right, here and there.
It came from known and
unknown, friend and peer.
Then I couldn't walk,
my legs were not there.
I searched and saw
them flying high in air.
I persuaded, requested,
even called them with frown.
But all in vain, they were
not ready to come down.
' All praise is due to Allah ',
I said in voice loud and clear.
My legs came down quickly
trembling with awe and fear.

Twisted, curled and straight.
Many of them reticulate.
Some are rough, some gloss.
And few of them crisscross.

Through mountains and canons.
Some desolate and barren.
Some through foliage unmown.
Ending of all is unknown.

Unalike yet all attract and allure.
With open arms tempt to explore.
Each path inviting like a *****.
Still another I search evermore.

A Prayer
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
I know not how to beg.
I know not how to pray.
I am immersed in sins.
I have just gone astray.

My sins like oceans deep;
Sins like mountains high.
But still I hope for mercy.
Your mercy wide as sky.

Words always so less;
And sea full of commotion.
I know not how to pray.
Just tears of emotion.

O God! listen to my heart.
Words always so less.
I know not how to pray.
Just beats of distress.

MdAsadullah Nov 2014
No shadow.
Unending noon.
Land barren, flat.
Running pit-a-pat.
Miles and Miles
left behind.
Miles and Miles
ahead.
hours, days, weeks...
Innocent heart.
Which land it searches?
Which land it seeks?

Sad and frustrated
I strolled here and there.
Lingered through narrow lanes,
streets strange and quare.
Here I am on crossroad,
where should I go?
Should I take the road broad and straight
or the one narrow and low.
Does it make any difference
which road I take,
when I don't know,
where I wan't to go?

Agree or Disagree
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
Round and round you walk.
Straight to the point I talk.
Who will decide what is fair.
Not umpire but you're a player.
Tis my view agree or disagree.
In democracy all are free.

ACCEPT ME OR REJECT ME
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
I live my life the way I want
and I don't care what others think or chant.
Accept me or reject me.
I am shy, I am humble and I am kind,
but harsh and blunt may my enemies find.
Accept me or reject me.
Many call me bigot and fanatic for passion I show towards my religion
but i don't care, I am ready to defend it in every season and in all condition.
Accept me or reject me.
I am an introvert and live mostly on my own,
that doesn't mean I am unfriendly and to my friends its known and shown.
Accept me or reject me.
I like Dosas, biryani, nehari and chicken fry.
but I am always prepared for salt and roti dry.
Accept me or reject me.
I am no saint, I do mistakes and then I regret,
but I am always ready to forgive and forget.
Accept me or reject me.
I try to speak the truth and sometimes it is very sour
I will continue that way, whether you declare a war, or put me behind bar.
Accept me or reject me.
I keep my distance from disco, cigarette, girls and liquor, that's not my way and that's not my style,
for which my friend's make my fun, but I ignore them all with a smile.
Accept me or reject me.
This is my story and this is my tale
It is for you all, and it is not for sale.
Accept me or reject me.
I love my prophet(pbuh) and I love Allah,
I am Muhammad Asadullah.
Accept me or reject me.
Accept me or reject me.

A Muslim's prayer
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
Standing hand folded,
heart filled with humility.
I ask for your mercy.
I ask for your help.

Fingers spread over knees,
I bow, eyes looking down.
I search you in the skies.
I pull up my head with your praise.

Taming my ego, my pride.
I put my highest to the lowest, *
submitting my will to yours.
I prostrate before you my Lord.

I raise my head with your praise.
Cognizant of my supriority over satan,
with gratitude I prostrate again.
Each pulse brings me closer to you God.

Drops of tears like precious pearls.
I raise my hands with open palms.
Your blessings shower like rain,
I hoard it as much as I can.
*highest denotes head, lowest denotes ground.
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
As I sauntered on banks of Yamuna at night.
I saw a man old, bent, with stick in dhoti white.
Tardily, step by step as he came nearer to me.
With joy I smiled as our own beloved Bapu was he.

With tears in my eyes I asked, ' Bapu you are still alive! ,
those three bullets holed your chest, how did you survive?
What happened to you? Where were you all these days?
What you ate? How you lived? Now where do you stay?

Condition of your beloved land is deteriorating day by day.
Countrymen have left your path, they have gone astray.
Your image, your killers are trying to malign and degrade.
Berating your ways, encouraging means which you forbade.

******'s advocates on chariots are traversing Nation's length.
Day by day Fascism is gaining ground , gaining strength.
Disguised as followers of Sri Ram, deeds of Ravan they do.
Riots and killings are frequent, women and minors are targeted too.

Terrorism nourishing on terrorism, cruelty at its worst.
Targeting anyone, anywhere, time and again bombs burst.
Once a land of peace, land of sufism, land of saints,
now ******. Innocent souls being killed without restraint.

Regionalism is being encouraged and taking roots.
Unity of the Nation selfish politicians reduce and dilute.
Corruption is increasing everywhere and in all spheres
Even highest office of respect could not keep itself clear '

Passing his hand over my head he smiled and said '
I am just a spirit, long ago my weak body was dead.
Daily with expectation I rise and daily with despair I die
Daily my hope is shattered and daily with grief I sigh

They may have killed me but now I live in numerous hearts
They may write me down in history yet my message will dart.
See this flag, colour saffron is dear to me, colour green I love.
between them is colour white, colour of peace, colour of dove.

Nation divided in three hurts me more than bullets three
From casteism and regionlism country should be free.
Communalism should not be allowed to raise its ugly head.
With sword of constitution Fascism we need to behead '

Three sound disturbed the calm, beloved Bapu fell on the ground
I went to help but Bapu vanished with words 'Hey Ram' echoing around
Determined that this time his innocent blood will not go waste.
I collected his non-violent blood in my pen like ink with haste.

REFLECTION
MdAsadullah Nov 2014
It was evening, time for sunset,
I walked slowly fatigued, burdened and upset.

I noticed three men imitating me, standing abreast.
They were dressed exactly the way I was dressed.

With anger and disgust I frowned.
Copying my expression they clowned.

Holding my head I looked at them with a smile.
They smiled back at me replicating my style.

Now I understood how they imitated me with perfection.
I was beside a mirror shop and those three were my reflection.

I walked forward with a wonderful thought.
with the help of pen for you all I have brought.

People around us are like our reflection,
hate with hate and love with love they will reflect with perfection.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
*********** *****
1. I do call to witness the Resurrection Day;
2. And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil) .
3. Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?
4. Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers.
5. But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him.
6. He questions: 'When is the Day of Resurrection? '
7. At length, when the sight is dazed,
8. And the moon is buried in darkness.
9. And the sun and moon are joined together, -
10. That Day will Man say: 'Where is the refuge? '
11. By no means! No place of safety!
12. Before thy Lord (alone) , that Day will be the place of rest.
13. That Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back.
14. Nay, man will be evidence against himself,
15. Even though he were to put up his excuses.
16. Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith.
17. It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it:
18. But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated) :
19. Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear) :
20. Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life,
21. And leave alone the Hereafter.
22. Some faces, that Day, will beam (in brightness and beauty) : -
23. Looking towards their Lord;
24. And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal,
25. In the thought that some back-breaking calamity was about to be inflicted on them;
26. Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit) ,
27. And there will be a cry, 'Who is a magician (to restore him) ? '
28. And he will conclude that it was (the Time) of Parting;
29. And one leg will be joined with another:
30. That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord!
31. So he gave nothing in charity, nor did he pray! -
32. But on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned away!
33. Then did he stalk to his family in full conceit!
34. Woe to thee, (O men!) , yea, woe!
35. Again, Woe to thee, (O men!) , yea, woe!
36. Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose) ?
37. Was he not a drop of ***** emitted (in lowly form) ?
38. Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did ((Allah)) make and fashion (him) in due proportion.
39. And of him He made two sexes, male and female.
40. Has not He, (the same) , the power to give life to the dead?
