I'm running from the sun,
but I'm chasing the moon.
I don't believe in god
but I know you do
and I find myself afraid
that my love is not enough for you
And so I pray again tonight
to a force I cannot see
to a deity I do not feel
from a faith that's not in me
For truth is true to each and every one of us unique
And I'll lie to me a truth to you
if it can grant you peace
For I love you more than my pride
more than honouring my view
I'll help you walk toward pearly gates
Though I can't go in with you
I'll stand beside you every step
If you'll have me on your way
To a heaven known by one of us
Until my dying day
For my views my truths my foolish pride
They aren't worth losing you
For the pain I'd feel to lose my heart
Is what I hold most true
The light from the Strawberry sun shimmered on the sky creating a Cherry hue as it blended with the Pink atmosphere. The Blue clouds floated on by with Silver linings around their frayed edges. I lay in the Golden grass looking up into the heavens waiting for Lemon-aid to come falling down.
We look but we do not see, what is in front of us. We walk through life with narrow vision, and we do not see the worth in others that are not like us. We cannot view other people as more than they are, we are blind to new ideas and yet we have perfect sight. Our own ignorance gets in the way of our seeing many evident truths. Our intolerance causes us to walk as a blind man in broad daylight. Try as we might we cannot pluck the obstruction from our soul that causes to be judgmental of others.

I don't want my heart to learn to love the rollercoaster boys.
The ones that take us on a ride but forget to tell us how many times we will go upside down, twist and turn, and sometimes fall out.
But those are the ones we fall for because they make us feel alive
