Someday I don't know when..
on a flight coming home again...
Paris, Spain, or Amsterdam
our eyes will meet from across the aisle
n' you'll give me that special smile...
you'll have that twinkle in your eyes..
the look that said, honey, won't you stay with me awhile
I've missed you for so long
n' I don't know where I went wrong...
My porch light has been on...
this whole time you've been gone...
just waiting for you to come along
I just don't know how to be
without you there's just no me...
So please baby, come on home..
I don't want to live alone.

We're all the same inside
no matter what our color, race, or eyes... may be
we all want freedom, and a place
to claim our dignity with a simple kind of grace
Hale to brave...
Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King...
you showed us how to spread our wings.
To fly above and sing...
"Rise together now"....
revealing to us all
how we can learn to stand up tall.
My sisters, and my brothers...
let's all start
by being kind to one another.

A Poe Nightmare
TigerEyes Dec 2015
You’re entering the dark shadow if you dare
be very careful when we’re there
I’ll grab a candle; now come with me
and, beware of what you're about to see
it’s going to seem so very real
you’ll be overwhelmed by all you feel
Snap! You’re locked in as we go on down
Clickty-click-clickty-click
it’s the bucket you’re locked in
Down, Down, Down we go
Down to the darkest rabbit hole
Tick, tick, tick do you hear the ticking clock?
the bucket you’re inside begins to rock
You’re now strapped down in a darkened room
next to all these drooling lunes
you begin to hear a creepy tune
Their shrieks are so very loud
they feel amplified in sound
they’re all wearing ***** looking shrouds
You turn to see the grey bars as you resist
and, it’s no use as you begin to twist
you only end up with ****** wrists
Suddenly you’re being pushed in water
and, the water keeps getting hotter
there’s a long needle above your head
you search for a way out of all this dread
you awake in a cold sweat
you wonder if you’re alive or dead
Then you hear that very creepy song
a clock radio’s been playing it all along
You look up into your bathroom mirror
to discover you have disappeared.

Twilight Moon
TigerEyes Nov 2015
Under the twilight moon I see you upon dew kissed grass
hushed inside your thoughts of whispering leaves
blowing above you
a whimsical smile greets me
just as I look into your eyes
and, I am reminded again
how much I love you
two hearts beating together,
entwined forever
underneath the memory of a twilight moon.

There was excitement in the air
as scientists, and scholars
had never dared
to dream of a world where we can go back in time
rewriting our wars line by line
They watched their hero disappear
He waved before saying,
I'll be back in one year
Five hundred years had past on by
everyone had thought
the hero had died

Nothing had changed
the wars became worse
politicians were blamed
nations felt cursed
Behold, one day
a flash appeared up in the sky
Coming in faster than the speed of light
burning so much day turned into night
there was thunderous sound
when the hero struck the ground
scientists, and scholars
looked on with awe
with big eyes
and, open jaws
creak
a hatch opened, and everyone stared
at the hero approaching with glowing white hair
he said,
words
no one could understand
so he showed them with pictures
*waving his hand

I am deaf in my left ear
but it doesn't stop me from creating the story I hear
I play soundtracks in my head
to imagine a picture I hear instead
it might be the color of the sun
as it slowly rises
just above a blue horizon
a picture becomes a sound
I'm able to see if the shape is round
then I rotate this image
all around
to hear the color of a sound
I might hold this image up
or lay it down...
I keep playing the music in my head
finding the words to paint instead.

TigerEyes Jul 2014
I will remain calm no matter what you say
You cannot take my breathe away
on any given day
You cannot take my spirit, or the way I love to laugh...
you cannot take my favorite color from me
or the way I love to see
the beautiful people in this world
that form the holiness of my humanity.

Walls
TigerEyes Dec 2015
These walls of mine are now going up
yeah, like walls hung by chains
for everything you said
you weren't at all
clankity-clank-clank they're going up
because of all the lies you have told
My, Oh, My
you were bold
to think you could even keep up with me
or even begin to comprehend, or see
all your skeletons, and trash tossed to ground
where holy light has shined I've found
that my angels really do exist
your stupid theory's will still persist
about the Universe
Oh, ***** really? you're so profound
I'm sending you into infinity through my mind
and, sound.
I feel sorry for your wife
for you have stolen her entire life
Surprise, surprise you have a wife?
*Well, **** off Mister...
I have a life

Shortcut Down Marble Street
TigerEyes Jan 2015
I took the short cut down to Marble Street the other day
to remind me of the cafe' where we met in May
We could of written our cute meet for the screen
just like a couple being filmed for a romantic scene...
I was wearing black n' white with my lacy jacquard tights
You were handsome wearing blue with your matching saddle shoes
That's when..
you winked at me above your book, and, then you looked away--
then I took you by surprise n' I smiled right into your eyes
and, then I looked away--
Oh, in a playful way---
That's when...
You swaggered so cooly up to me just as courteous as can be
but I pretended not to hear playing the naughty girl you see...
Yes, I was naughty I was bad cause I wanted you to chase after me ---
That's when...
I got up with my book tossing you that flirtatious look
that's when I knew I had you by the hook
because I watched the way you shook
then I reached out for your hand
I said,
I'm a woman that knows what she wants n' I won't tease n' I won't taunt
That's when you said,
I'm a man who understands, and I'll give you all the love I can,
Now we're...
taking the short cut down to Marble Street on this sunny day
and, it's been ten years in the month of May
You know, it's the little things you say
that makes me so happy you looked my way
Baby, there's no one else that brings so much happiness n' peace
you've brought joy into my life
I'm so grateful you're my wife...

That's when...
I melt right into you...

I am five staring up in my clown bed wondering if there is only one me
why is it that I have these visions of the future I have not seen?
images dancing across my head like photographs of the dead
haunting me in my dreams telling me that everything is not all as it seems
illusions in front of my eyes dancing like white lies
hard to tell the truth from the false …
are those people I see like dolphins or, are they sharks?
when you’re born with vision right from the start
it can be confusing to say the least
it feels as though you’ve been given some kind of cheat sheet

I am staring up at the stars with my blue eyes…
I am a wondering child at the age of five
Why am I here? Is there a God? Does he see?
Does he/she see the images I have seen?
Does he/she know I am here feeling unheard, and unseen?
So many questions from the eyes of a wondering child —
so many questions I’m hoping God has call waiting - or, great files.

She can see your lips move
but cannot hear what you say
her eyes tear up at the end
at the futility of understanding
the small message you're trying to send
unable to pierce the walls of silence
she feels trapped inside
slow moving ocean tides
nodding throughout her day
in front of the faces that visit today
Mozart spins silently around
as her memories flood back
to the sights and the sounds
of fluttering gowns
when she was a young girl...
and he was her world.

I'm spinning around
I'm moving at the speed of sound...
I dance
I prance
I listen to Delerium
In a trance
I jump up in the air like I'm skating on ice..
Imagine a "V"
I touch my toes ~ it feels nice
Energy pulsating through my veins
I'm spinning around...
I don't ever want to touch the ground
I go for a run
when I feel spun
(To the a** hole shrink that said I'd never be William Faulkner)
That's not my style
that's not who I want to be...
n' you're never going to know
what it's like to be free
As I'm spinning around
My vision is clear/I truly see...
You're not in my body..
You're not me.

About Mrs. Budge
TigerEyes Jan 2015
Has anyone seen Mrs. Budge around today?
My, my, you just never know what she'll say
Everyone knows her by the stories she tells
not to mention her unique smell
a mix of moth *****, and gourmet soup
she built her own chicken coop
raised nine kids on a farm
made all their clothes from her yarn
After that she built a barn
where she kept her honey bee's
to pollenate all her orchard tree's
she put up pears in the fall
after that I heard she got a call
to sell her canned pears in a fancy mall
I hope that I'm like her at 93
they finally found her in an apple tree
laughing upside down on a tire swing
singing joyfully to her honey bee's.

Buried Treasure
TigerEyes Nov 2014
I will seek
in darkness, and in light
to find every buried treasure
that glistens bright.
hidden /waiting...
to be found
like all the gold that's glistening
within the ground
hidden/waiting...
intuition picks up on every sound
our spirits
really have no bounds.
I know inside
what is true
I see shimmering gold
reflected in the eyes of me, and you.
I will search far, and wide...
for all the answers that may reside
buried deep like fortune
inside my soul
hidden/waiting
for me to hold
I will share
my buried treasure
to all I meet
I will carry this treasure
to their feet.

With you at my side
there's nothing to hide
with love in our hearts
it's just a start
from beginning to end
our hearts transcend
in another life
honey, honey...
where do we go from here?
with my green eyes
and mysterious lives
I'll never hide
from you...

from this life to next
gonna love ya like heck...
like a spell
What the hell...?
so honey...honey
chant the spell
under the stars
under the moon
keep me up
until dawn...
til' noon..
that's the thing....
I love ...
about you.

Conversations with strangers
have opened up my eyes
to all the interesting ways in which
people have lived their lives
like magical characters inside a book
I want to keep turning the pages
to find out the path they took
I have often wondered
as I travel from here to there
how we can connect with strangers
everywhere
Their story might not be yours
perhaps they're here from Singapore
they miss their children/they miss their wife
but still they look you in the eyes, and smile
It's the conversations with strangers
that have left me feeling *inspired

Dance It Out (A Song)
TigerEyes Dec 2015
Dance it out upon the stage Oh, then dance it out upon the page
work it, work it, Baby, don't give up
groove it out, groove it up
cause, Baby, you got moves that so twist it up
Sweat it out,  bust it up n' then shout it out
tap your feet up n' down
n' I promise
I promise Baby, you'll tap that sadness upside down
in the streets in Hollywood
the traffic's crazy
in dat' hood just close your eyes n' do a dance
all you have to do is just take a chance....
Yeah, chance, chance, chance
n' dance, dance, dance
spin around to these hot sounds /to all these cats drumming beats
Choreography here
smiling with hats n' canes you tap across the stage
like Fred Astaire you walk on air
air, air, air ---
who cares if it's just the street
you're smiling now with dancing feet
Cause Baby, you got moves that twist it up
Work it, work it, work it --
Baby, you just shine n' don't give up.

This is for all the struggling writers/artists that I've met, and love.
TigerEyes Mar 2014
In my life I have known betrayal
It's been delivered to me in every way
placed in my mailbox
delivered express mail.
It's like a knife ****** into my heart
cutting slowly sadistically it says--
"Oh, baby -- this is just the start
this is gonna hurt...
"you're gonna **** down blood -- along with dirt"
It's put me on my knee's..
begging God/Whatever -- to rescue me
And,  I know that everyone's the same
we've all experienced hurt, and pain
It just seems like I've had more
it's shake'n me down to my core
There must be a lesson in all this
I just know I pray for bliss
to understand the reason I am here
to end my pain/to end my fear.

The war on hate continues on
fueled by corporations around the world
they're sticky like honey...
they're in love with the sound of...
"cha-ching, money---"
it starts with a house at the end of a street..
spreading with rain...
trampled by boots...
it gathers more pain
to leave its next stain
on snow colored white
crimson red
staining the dead..
It may have all started with a hateful stare...
an unkind word...
perhaps, a spiteful glare
enough for it to fuel the fire
(an ego desire)
to right the wrong of what had been done
unjust in the eyes of the hater
revenge that had to be carried out..
sooner rather than later...
the circle is now complete
spinning round n' round...
with the violent sound
of bombs ripping, and tearing
flesh on the ground
Meanwhile the Dow is up...
n' all the fat cats on Wallstreet
are just living it up...
so happy they cashed in
knowing when it would all begin...
before it was too late...
to make money on all the hate.

I wish, I wish
upon a shooting star
that one, up there
the bright one...
the North star
there's one next to it
blazing through the sky
(I trace its path with spiritual eyes)
wondering about the many lives
it's heard whispering heartfelt pleads
to bring back life through miraculous deeds
beggars of souls
regretfully buried
in carved out holes
from bombs, and shells
a senseless hell..
wishing, wishing...
praying for peace
to end all of the blood shed in the Middle East
I am here
you are there...
(you feel as though nobody cares)
Can you hear me from up there?
I hear you down here
while everything's falling,
falling
tumbling down..
there's so much fear
We're running for shelter
on rumbling ground...
as I say goodbye to a shooting star
I am..
wishing, wishing
praying for peace
for all the souls
buried in shrouds
in neat little rows
like sweet little clouds
your soul’s now part of the North Star
little voices sing for peace
(sweet dreams little cherubs from the East)
You want to tell them
you’ll come back
in another time
when everyone's kind
embracing all of mankind
and though we’re all down here
and you are up there...
I know you exist everywhere.

I am like an unread book
sitting on the shelf
waiting to be opened up
to experience a second look.
I was read before but put away
afraid somehow the words would stay
inside my soul which was not whole...
because the dark side made me hide --
pushing me to the other side.
Reading the forward chapter
I'm finding there's so much light to capture.
In each word there is a moment
that stands still...
like a beautiful mountain, or a hill...
where I can choose to reach up
grasping the stars...
I am pulling them in
showing my light,
that shines within.

Dancing Notes
TigerEyes Mar 2015
I see musical notes dancing, and kicking across the stage
as Broadway lights flash upon the written words on each page
with the stoke of a pen I breathe some air
into a character like Fred Astaire
There's no business like show business--
I know

And, fade into the part where the two lovers begin to sing a song --
Yes, as they dance along --
and, they sing like they're in heaven
yes, they're like two blooming flowers in the Spring -- it's true love - the real thing
that boy see's nothing but stars within her twinkling eyes
that make him dance n' sing n' smile --
He tips his hat like that - yes, like this, and - then like that,
step, tap
step,  tap
clackity
clackity
step, clack
tap
tap
Then she spins around like this leaning in to give a kiss
but then she playfully pulls on back
just before laying a little smack
yes, she playfully pulls away --
she wants him to court her a certain way --
tap
step, tap
step
tapity
clackity
step,
tap

Oh, and the boy is confused by all of this
he just wants a little kiss
so he works hard to get it right
Oh, how he wants to hold her tight --
Then
He bows to her like a Princess as it were
Then
She so cutely leans in -
and, you just know it's so all over for this guy named Jim
then the lights begin to fade
as they both sing n' dance across the stage --

and, the love that these two have found
started out with a familiar sound
with the stroke of a pen
I will breathe air into them again.

Hush
TigerEyes Dec 2015
There was a hush at the door as she looked above
a silencing of her heart like a ******* hole...
He stood at the door this man adored
the scent of her skin the scent of her soul
Oh, how she prayed for love above
a mystery this fair maiden wished to know
for love had long passed her by until the Prince
had walked on by in the forrest of Isle
he was passionately wild...a soul on fire
Hush, he said as he kissed her neck
let me wipe these tears that you've wept
and, come with me as you haven't slept
I will hold you tight all through the night
my love, my maiden -- I am yours tonight
to have to hold for the rest of your days
I promise forever for the rest of my days.
TigerEyes Jun 2014
I'm floating in on a razor edge of light
it's curving
bending
I see a rainbow of colors
reaching to touch them
my hand pushes through a wall
I enter a room...
I hear "pattering"
What is that sound?
The view is so strange down here.
I'm running from the little people now
children of the corn
(nephews, and nieces)
being given free reign to catch me
they want to hang me upside down by my tail.
I'm hiding under a bench now
smelling the stench of cheap perfume...
I listen to Aunt Bee ***** about the time
she loaned me five dollars
along with her beater gas guzzling pig car
that I returned to her on empty
when I was 21
I still can't believe you're all here...
(we haven't talked to each other in years)
I wasn't supposed to talk to that family member
because you hated them for this reason -- or that...
I forget
I'm making a run across the room
panting..
I skid across the slippery hardwood floors, and tumble
rolling up on my small belly...
I sniff Uncle Hank's shoes
they remind me of fine leather, and expensive cigars...
he's reaching down to pet me
I'm licking his fingers...
they taste like the fried chicken he just ate
he's pushing the hair out of my eyes
patting my head, and smiling -- I hear him say,
"Good puppy"
I always liked him...
he never complained about anything.

He could not ignore her fire
he had to touch it
it was..
a lake of flame
a lake of fire...
filled up with desire
it burned inside his soul
made him yearn
for truth untold
wanting
he waited...
but she was the one
in the end...
that hesitated.

Desire
TigerEyes Dec 2014
You whispered her name then she rose from the lake
you named her desire when you saw what she'd take
an inferno of fire consuming black holes
atoms/particles/were tossed, and thrown --
she formed every thought she'd ever known
expanding inside a tiny black hole
she exploded rainbows /forming galaxy's in streams
and she expanded the universe just like a dream
when you were lonesome /you called out her name
you wanted, and wanted -- but she never came
forgetting desire is never tame/she's like fire
she only wants one thing
to burn brighter/and brighter/higher and higher
she responds to light from the heavens above
her name is desire
she wants, and wants -- she seeks love.

A Million Light Years
TigerEyes Dec 2014
ACT I

He traveled a million light years for her smile
passing stars, and nebula's at the speed of light

this time he was determined to get it right
all for the green eyed girl he'd heard one night
her song had traveled at the speed of sound
he'd picked it up on while floating around
in another dimension he explored
Oh, how he'd fallen in love
while listening to the green eyed girl
she was someone he began to adore
he was traveling at the speed of sound
to be with the love he had found
a million light years away
he couldn't wait to tell her...
" I'm going to love you, forever. I'm here to stay."

She was a day dreamer with a one way ticket out
drifting on rainbow clouds passing little towns
all she wanted was a one a way ticket out
drifting across Paris,
on an Oyster yacht
she just wanted a shot...
a good life
instead of strife...
Oh, man this baby wanted out
so bad it made her wanna shout
so she imagined a life somewhere else
anywhere that would take her somewhere
another place, another land
where she imagined her life would be grand...
she just couldn't live
in the place she found herself at...
she wanted to live.
most of all she just wanted to give.

I just wanna learn to live

Yeah, you know how it is...
Built up a wall so tall
I went n' took a fall

I'm finding my way back home
realizing I'm not alone
stopped look'n at the lack

I won't be left behind
there's no limit

I can exhibit

these are the feelings

She likes to tell me
about painting, or music
going on and on
about all her success
I’m happy for her
don’t get me wrong...
but once in awhile
it would be nice if she’d ask me
how I’m getting along
I’ll have to let that all go...
besides it’s really
my silly ego.
She doesn’t understand
my love for words
or, photographs
depicting
whole other worlds...
there’s a silent freedom
in accepting all that...
I can just listen, and learn...
while she chats.

The love story fades in on a big bright moon
it tells the story of me n' you
it begins with a single star
when we split in two
n' the angels said a prayer...
as we blazed on through
that explains the melody of me n' you
when two stars began to dance...
out of the blue
two hearts beating the same notes to a song
two hearts meeting that know they belong
spinning & twirling all around...
together we make our own special sound
beneath a bright sky of twinkling stars
we sing our song
we play our tune
that we know by heart...
beneath the moon
it's called...
the melody of me n' you.

keeping all your dark secrets from my

a magician of sorts dancing from track to track

My haven't you gotten good?*
twisting words so they're misunderstood
Black horse, black horse just go away
cause this Princess Bride has run off today
to leave your sorry *** in the grass....
snarl n' grind your teeth like you do
kick n' buck have a fit it's you --

All my friends form a circle now
protecting me with their light somehow
so just go hurt some other girl
cause this one's built a whole new world.

Before she became known as Lady Ann
she grew up poor in a far off land
where she worked her fingers to the bones
in her torn n' ragged worn out clothes
She liked to sing to all the birds
as she walked along with her sheep in herds...
Little Ann was just barely seven
when her mother went to heaven
All she knew was toil, and strife...
so she became an expert
at swords n' knifes
One night as she walked on home
in the dark n' all alone...
a robber jumped down from a tree
he was sorry when he felt her knee
strike his crotch so rapidly
her gold sword pressed down upon his chest
he scurried away like a *****
running on back to his gypsy camp...
Word got out to The Knight in town...
he decided to give her a diamond crown
for her courage, and bravery in Greenland
he decided to crown her Lady Ann.

"The Princess Series"
TigerEyes Jan 2014
In the city that never sleeps
you walk the city streets
to pass the time
Wishing I was yours...
While I'm wishing you were mine
You wander through the night
haunted by my love
haunted by my ghost..
I have gone though...
I couldn't stay
it's best this way
you stare at all the blinking lights...
dazed
in a haze...
way past midnight
I am here
you are there
I have gone...
the song plays on.

The Final Frontier
TigerEyes Feb 2015
Their home overlooks the East side of Saturn
where the others have built more towers
with all of their money, and all of their power
There's a bridge in the middle that has a tall door
it separates the two classes we've named --
Eastrich and, Westpoor
The skyway jams up as early as four
with cy~chips that are paid incredibly more.

I found a thin paper book with old photographs
it had pictures of animals in zoo's like giraffe's
I saw pictures of ocean's with fish in the sea
there were mountains with forrest's as green as can be.

I wish I had eyes, and a body like the ones that I see
if I could wish for one thing that's the thing I would be
but I was designed with fine metal instead
with mathematics, and physics built into my head
iWork in Westpoor with others like me
if I could be human that's what I would be.

Peaceful Warrior
TigerEyes Dec 2015
It's none of my business what you think of me
it's clear you believe that you're too superior
to ever see
to see the me that's inside you
to believe in the goodness inside me
and, everything that is true
instead you want to tear my spirit down
you enjoy twisting my words around
I can't change you
only me
I will be a peaceful warrior
you will see
I will grow from this experience
and, be the best person
that I can be
but there's something you don't understand
you've lost my respect as a human, and a man
and, I will not give myself away
I am responsible for my own happiness today
if that means removing you from my life
well, baby
I'm removing your back-stabbing knife.

Outside In
TigerEyes Feb 2015
Outside in
inside out/upside in, again
Like a storm in the sky you'll catch a glimps in my grey eyes
when I'm upside down
n' darlin' you always know when I'm in the rain, again
and,  I know you've been here before---
please, darlin, please,  just don't walk out that door
I don't want these storms, anymore
just don't walk out that door
Can't you see that I'm outside in/inside out/upside in, again, today
when you say you don't love me that way --
please, darlin, won't you, won't you, please stay
just give us, give us, one more chance, just one more day

I'm moving on where I belong
let me be the River that I am/you know I'm strong
I'm flowing over rocks/over stones/through clear blue River streams
over mountains/flying /I'm an Eagle/let me have my dreams..
please just leave me alone

n' I have my dreams/I like my time
to create/inspire/be divine/dance n' love/smile all day long/all around
You know I move at the speed of sound...
I'm moving on where I belong
I am a River/you know I am strong/I am water over stones
water over hills/I am water flowing through
fluid ocean streams/moving on where I belong...
I am an Eagle/flying above in blue suede sky's
let me fly...

as above/so below
I am strong..
let me flow/ like a River
I'm moving on ...
to the place where I belong.

Spinning Globe Story
TigerEyes Jul 2015
I had a vision of a globe spinning once upon a time
And, I heard a song playing with these words
this is how it rhymed,
China joined Russia while Peru fell off the map
Yes, while the United States had been sleeping
our President had gone out, or had been taking a very long nap
Australia went South, while Florida went North
the world was changing so fast, and a prophecy was set forth
I can't explain this vision, I cannot know that right now
the world was changing so fast, and I couldn't figure out how
All I know is the United States had been sleeping
that's all I know for sure right now.

Never
TigerEyes Jan 2016
You were never a Mother to me
you left me behind you see
there was never enough food nor, light
nothing ever went well, or right...
you ignored everything in sight
and, your husband touched me where
a little girl was lost down there...
I should have never had to go
Oh, all the tears that I learned to know
Mother,  you never came back to see
how you never protected me.

Swept Away
TigerEyes Nov 2014
She was swept away on that stormy day
on a maiden ship she did board/dressed up in her finest clothes
and finest pearls
she had put her hair up the night before
to create her lovely curls
yes, she had promised to meet her lover
on a sunny New York day
instead she ended up swept away...
swallowed up in a stormy sea
it happened in the month of May...
Her name was Eloise, and she was like a breeze
of red roses, and that of wine...
when she spoke her words they were never terse
but always sweet, and always kind--
when she would walk on past
the gentlemen would gasp
at such grace n' beauty that she did display
they would scramble to tip their hats
trying to take in all her beauty
something to hold onto/something to make it last
Eloise was swept away on a stormy rainy day
she promised to meet her lover
on a sunny New York day
instead her lover waited every day for Eloise
to show up in the month of May.

Wandering Eyes
TigerEyes Dec 2014
The New York man with wandering eyes is teetering on his third ex-wife. He watches all the pretty girls swagger in n' he imagines his hands on their warm skin. He gives them each the up down stare ~ ******* their tight clothes that they wear.

He likes to stare into their pretty eyes/he wants to creep into their lives.

His wife ignores this selfish act n' she'll choose a carefully designed attack with an expensive lawyer behind his back/when she's sure of getting more than half.

And the New York man with wandering eyes that told his third wife all those lies will wonder why he's all alone while he stares at pretty girls on the phone.

One World Order
TigerEyes Jun 2015
Join in everyone
it's a new day for a rising sun
Utopia is here -- and there's nothing more to fear
we've wanted this for so long/for this to finally come
the last war is finally over/yes, it's finally done
the One World Order has begun
So look into your neighbors eyes
and, perhaps offer them a tender smile
(Chorus/Children's Voices)
la, la, la - la, la, la, la --- la, la, la -- la, la, la
We are finally One
the wars are finally over
Yes, they're finally done
sing in unity/sing to this song
we're all One/the wars are finally over
yes, they're finally done
Sing in unity to this song
we're all One race, and everyone belongs---
la, la, la - la, la, la -- la, la, la--la, la, la
All the horses have left the sky
there's no more reason for you to weep or, cry
Utopia is here, and there's nothing more to fear
Love your brother, love your son, love your daughter....
love your neighbor,
love everyone.

Over The Mountain
TigerEyes Aug 2015
She flew over the mountain to the other side
to meet a wizard that was wise
wanting to look into his eyes
where there were magic flowers everywhere
of golden colors in pinks, and blues
he taught her everything that he knew
that's' when she found out he was true
no harm, or foul play would come to her
there was magic floating everywhere
that's when the wizard showed he cared

her soul to keep from all that's bad ...
he waved his wand up in the air
and, he gave her everything that he had.

Floating between darkness/floating between stars
Earl lived in the backwoods/
…with snow on the hills
he sharpened his knives
while counting his pills..
his dark blackened eyes..
would give way to chills..
yeah, they were shaping, and twisting so many lies…
he liked to get ******/he liked to get high..
Earl liked to do
whatever he pleased…
and, it grew n’ grew
like a darkened disease…

There once lived a girl
her name was Nadine
An innocent girl
just barely eighteen…
She knew not of wolves
that lived in her woods…

While out on
her walk…
with eyes on his prey…Earl knew in a moment
what he had to stalk.

No one in town knows where Nadine went…
Except.... Earl...he knows ...
how Nadine's days are spent.

North Star
TigerEyes Nov 2015
There is a ship sailing upon an ocean
and, that ocean my love is you
where blue tides are pulled, and stirred
by heart strings upon the moon
where I will  always be your faithful North Star
forever shining my guiding light on you.

She was a dreamer during the day, and a vampire at night
seeing ghosts around every corner in the light
She tried to wish them away for another day
closing her eyes reaching her hands toward the sky
sometimes falling down on her knees/down on her knees
on the pine scented ground she’d pray
whenever there were rainy clouds the sound of grey
wishing/wishing
them away
all around she’d try to listen, or look for signs in tree’s
even in the way her red flowers blew in the breeze
Yeah, she was a dreamer during the day, and a vampire at night
she tried to scare the ghosts away to take away her fright
wishing them away/wishing them away
for another rainy day/for another rainy day
All she heard was the sound of grey
Please take these ghosts away/that’s what she’d always say
sweep them away/sweep them away
I don’t want deal with them today
not today/not today…
Yeah, that’s what she would always say--
whenever/whenever/ she heard the sound of grey.

TigerEyes Apr 2014
It wasn't just that she'd given her heart
tried one more time all over again
"this one's for love...this could be a new start"
that's what she said...
He'd found a passionate girl that loved knowledge
the smell ink on paper - the love of old books
His Peter Pan to her Captain Hook
Once the pattern had started all over again..
"It was that one time - I know that he's kind,"
this too will pass - this too will end...
She had been trading herself in for cheap beer
far too long  -- she had been telling herself
"Love feels like shame...."
"I need more of the same..."
When she realized the lies ...
tears pooled in her eyes
What a skewed point of view...
that everything she knew
felt lifeless and shattered
because someone had said,
"You really don't matter...
you're not worth my time...
I named you.. "Nickel"
because you're not worth a dime."

(Explicit) In My Dreams
TigerEyes Nov 2014
In my dreams I'm trying to remember who's chasing me
I remember now it's Miss TNT holding a grenade
She's about to blow
n'  I don't know
when..
I'm kicking my feet ...
My Nikes are moving so fast down the street
I glance back over my shoulders briefly n' then face the street again
n' the street has turned into a track field in front of me
I can hear Miss TNT's cleats pounding n' I turn and, then I see
A monster with big scary claws
n' her teeth are sharp and, pointing out of her scary jaw
and, she's out for blood because I've ****** her off in the past
n' the hatred in her eyes feels like it's going to last n' last...
I'm wishing that she'd just get a life n' leave me alone...
I yell out, "******* ***** go chew on a bone!"
Her scary jaw opens up n' there's blood in her mouth
I realize now it's all gone South
cause she's crunching down on me now with glee in her eyes
so happy that she's eaten the person that she so despised.

Where I Dream
TigerEyes Dec 2015
In My Dream....

In my dream I am always floating
through a stormy grey blue sky
just before your shadow spins
where I find myself breathing in
the scent of blooming roses
planted in the ground

I hear your voice/ I hear your sounds
I pass you by
then I twist, and I begin to fly —
I see your tearful grey-blue eyes
(staring down at me)

I was your wild Goddess once…
my name rolled off your soft lips
exploring my body with strong hands
dancing music across my hips

like sweet wine you wanted more
than just one tiny sip
you screamed my name
and, we rushed like waves

Oh, how you couldn’t get enough of me…
I return to my dream
(a change of scenes)
in my color scheme
I just see red
where I lay my head
(there are red roses in the sun)
they are the ones you planted
just for me
while you chant your love
on this earth…

while I gaze at you from up above.
