you say you’re not a poet but
with a girl like that,
how could you speak
anything less than
the stars?

One last snowflake
And the roof collapsed.

One last raindrop
And the levee cracked.

One last grain
Before life is breathless.

One last kiss
To seal my blessings.
Crimson red roses
Arresting the sweet Fragrance
Antique silver bowl
Inspired by
a flower arrangement in an antique silver bowl, embossed and carved in Burmese  mythological art

This was supposed to be a haiku, I usually never tag them, the second line was short of one syllable, added the word ‘sweet’

Time
Is just time
Aging like wine
The more wine
The more time
Being timeless
Losing time
Aging yourself
Just like fine wine
Just in time
To drink more wine
Losing more time...

what do parking lots
and my heart
have in common?

they both feel so much bigger
at five a.m.
opening up.

his destiny
often ...

in
the road
he takes
to avoid
it.
