We run through this realm
My lover and me
Time cannot touch us
We'll forever be free

I've chugged bottles of the finest wine,
guzzled gallons of rotgut whiskey,
smoked bowlfuls of ethereal herbs,
& swallowed lots of strange pills
& I'm sorry if I hurt you,
it was never my intent.

I'm just hell bent on
******* things up,
it's always been my way,
but I will always love you
when you don't love me,
promise.

The days....
They bind together.
Like an Illusion..
Seeming real.

I know not of the date,
As the fires burn around me.
I've lost count.
Of the lives lost to treachery.

Survival,
It keeps your instincts alive.
As you fight those for food,
Drown those for water,
And **** those for a refuge.

I will survive,
This never ending war.
Death...tragedy..
Shall not take my soul

My senses reeling
I do not know What to do
Still in love with you

A place where we come together,
Is a place of love.
A place where we write.
Like, comment and admire.

When you join us in this age,
You will see.
How we think, feel.

Writing is more than just putting words to paper.
It is home,
Where you are accepted.

Poetry is expression of self,
but it is not one a major
social network, it is here
this peaceful place of nice people

Self expression with words,
not with some stupid Facebook
status or a tweet, not a tumblr
or Google-plus, just Hello poetry

so why can't we expand this site?
