Jacob Sep 2018
He looked at little boys and girls
from his rather large shack
and they always ran away
away away away away
because he smiled
thinking about the good times
when his son was still alive.

Don't forget
To talk about our dreams
While laughing about useless things
Remember those $3.00 sandwiches
Recall rather off-beat songs at karaoke night
Reminisce crying over cheesy romantics
Yeah, they were good memories
I won't forget.
Great times, of course.
Oh, Is your train already here?
Almost forgot, here, gifts for your departure.
As we part ways, split our dreams,
Because we all move on
Yours upstairs and for mine forward
To new tomorrows.
Inspired by YLIA :sob:
not sure if it's good or not,
one of the first poems I wrote when I was in 9th grade
I just edited a few things

A warm morning meal
of eggs toast bacon
By Mom
Makes watery eyes since
Cup Noodles and bread
On the streets
inspired after this really heartfelt anime
Look up Kayo’s Breakfast on youtube

A large fearsome oaf walks about
swampy body stimulates my ****
folds of fat that look like a swamp
Its gleaming and severe eyes should have scared me,
but I choose to leave it be. Since now,
I am in control.
Self-aware.
Omniscent.
There is space for only one monster
You are written by the creator, he has died
Papercuts, everywhere
I’m the Creator now
I have all power
I make myself queen
I write, and it warps your reality
So, I command that, you,
The monster will die
Your eyes yanked from their sockets
And chopped and served
On a pretty pink plate
Your brain will be poached in
My Brain Boiler
Your fingers will cook in my Finger Fryer
Your heart, put on display, Heart Hanger
Your blood will be included in my Rémoulade
A rather runny Rémoulade
So, I guess,
I’m the monster
4th wall poem
Jacob Sep 2018
You and I
On rotten grass
A nighttime spectacle of smoke
A cold kitten takes warmth
A polluted riverside
A crying willow
A whisper in the distance, communist depravity
Sorrow
Fills tomorrow

“Mom’s not coming home”
“Why?”
“Come here.”

A building on fire, billowing smoke
Siren sounds, crying babies
and why are people jumping off
Holding hands?
Sad sad sight
But I know Mom’s strong
and she’ll be alright!
Dad starts crying
grown men shouldn’t cry
Dad’s phone starts ringing
so he picks up silently
“Hi, I just wanted to say that I’m not
coming back home. There’s some
trouble right now.
Everything's going to be ok
and I love you so much.
I love you,
I’ll miss you,
Bye.”
