His, Not yours
Elle Aug 2022
Look at him through fluttering eyelashes
Be docile
Be his doll
Sweet, supple, submissive

Tell him of his brilliance
Tell him he's the only one
Let your thoughts become his words
His words, his brilliance
His
Not yours

What is his will be valued
You will be valued
For being his
Not yours

Speak up but not over him
Your thoughts are his words
His words his brilliance
Stay sweet, supple, submissive
His, not yours

You speak too much
Your lips are not meant to be used
Unless for him
and his pleasure
His, not yours

You think too much of your pain
Destitution of recognition
Unless it be in empathy of his pain
Yours will have no value
His, not yours

You spoke over him, not up
Your words are not valued
unless they become his brilliance
His, not yours

You are becoming autonomous
Remember who you are
Fluttering eyelashes
Docile
Supple body
Submission
Never your own
Only his
His, not yours

Untitled Poetic Ramble #1
Elle May 2018
To live a life without words
Is like a hell I did not consent or deserve
And honestly
Life with words
Is another hell
I did not consent to
Or deserve

But here I am
My pen in hand
At 3 am
my mind continuing to short circuit
Flashing random phrases
Without context
Or meaning

But with my paper I can give them meaning
And provide them context
As I do here
And now
And though this makes no sense
And will never be more than a rant and nonsensicle ramble
It gives me peace
And it gives me my inspiration
Honestly I'm so tired but my mind wont shut up, so heres a little letter to my exhausting yet inspiring thoughts

Basking in the Feeling
Elle May 2018
She was the sun
And I was the flower

Her golden eyes
Warming me every hour

To be involved
Is a mere coincidence

But to be in love
There is no better incidence
idk i guess i feel happy

Life and how she treats me
Elle May 2018
Life is a temptress
and she will never tempt you
through her duplicity
she will throw you a bone
and take it before you can bite
Leave you stranded and spent
Wondering where she has gone
And when she will return

Life, the leading lady
Will dance around happiness
And waltz with pain and defeat
Taunting you with every 3 counts

She tires you
And cheats you
But claims it is all in good fun
When her fun is what causes you to stumble and fall
So please Lady Luck
Mistress of all
Bring the deadly necklace
And the deceitful cure
Bring me the peace I long for
And bring an end to the thoughts
And the voices
That hold me captive
Please spare me the encore
And give me
The last ovation
yayay my first poem up on a website :)
