In deepest wood
  A home once stood
Roses bloom by chimney fall
       An old stone wall
Lines remnant trail
Gives heed to open well
                     Where lilacs trace
                           An empty space
                       And fills the air
              With scent to wear
                 An apple tree
       And mulberries
           An old home site
                 In morning light

I was put on Earth to feel.
To run my hands through dirt
And thank.

To lift; move and be
Content with the act.
To eat and grow myself into

A shield the size of
Family.

I have only come close
To taking human life.
I have never seen an unanimal birth.

A shield the shape of myself; only
A few sizes too small;

I thank the gods I've never
Danced on TV.

That I knew how to end a
Marriage. How to lick my

Wounds with the taste of unsatisfied
Woman on my mouth;

How to take **** and
Name it fertilizer.

I've never looked a naked girl
In the eyes and said "I don't love you."

I've never seen the inside
Of a prison
Sober.

Forward
And back
Directions
Taken by the pack

When I hear
Forward
Or back
I instantly think
My perspective
You obviously lack
I keep waking up everyday just the same,
A little lonesome, a little pain,
But overall I'm okay.

I lost my job last week,
I've been getting by pretty fine.
All I have is my thoughts now to help slowly pass the time.
I'm trying to give myself a purpose,
Since I lost mine with my job,
And I can't answer the phone and say "good morning!"
Or talk to mike about his new dog.

But whatever.

That's what I keep saying.
When I keep thinking about hurting myself,
And I think "you're not that person anymore"
But maybe I am.
Maybe I am so much so I can't even rhyme about it because I'm dead ******* serious.
I'm wasting my life right now,
God, I am so ******* special and I'm wasting it.
And I fill all my voids with tattoos,
Soon I won't have anymore room,
I'll have to address and assess this situation sometime,
But I guess I'll wait till then,
Hopefully it's not too soon.

There I go rhyming again.
Looks like I'm okay after all.
This is my 200th poem
I am so floored
I am overjoyed
I  am so excited to have made it this far
I have to let you know that I could not have done it without you all
You are the best followers, but I don't like saying it that way because you are so much more, You are my totally Awesome friends
You give so much inspiration, you are my muses and amazing in so many ways
You give comfort on tough days
You turn a frown into a smile
you also bring me to tears at times because your poems touch me so much
You make me laugh at times (especially Mike)
I may not know many of you face to face, but know one else can take your place in my heart
How can I show my full appreciation for you
You are amazing
You are Fantastic
You are priceless
You are irreplaceable
I am so glad to have all of you, My Hello Poetry Family!
I would have had more than 200 poems but some never made it here.
This 200th poem is a Tribute to all of YOU!
